Medical Sub-Project

The medical sub-project provides access to the technical and medical database on phage research and phage therapy in line with the current state of the art. Furthermore, the sub-project investigates which technical and medical developments and applications can be expected in the future, given the current state of research.

The results of the medical sub-project will initially serve as the evidence-based basis for the other sub-projects within the project. Furthermore, the results can also be utilised scientifically by external public bodies, databases and translational centres to support the translation of phage therapy.

The medical sub-project is being carried out in cooperation with the Bundeswehr Hospital in Berlin and Dr Jan Georg Möller (specialist pharmacist in pharmaceutical analysis and specialist pharmacist in medicinal product information).
